Water from Lake Brunner flows down the Arnold River to supply Arnold Power Station. Arnold Dam features a combination of earth section, buttress, and concrete arch, and a recent strengthening project has improved its resilience to both earthquakes and flooding.
Visitors can enjoy views of the Arnold Dam from a nearby DOC trail.
