Mokauiti Power Station is located upstream of Wairere Power Station on the Mokau River, in the Waikato Region. The head at Mokauiti is 42.7 metres.
Passive fish passage is in place across both the Mokauiti and Wairere schemes, helping native fish make their way up and down the river past hydro infrastructure.
